Vision: To create an online community for Mathematics teachers in India. Within this community the members can share knowledge, resources, experience and gain continuing professional development and qualifications.
Ambition: To establish MathsBook as the online community in India and launch in the first quarter of 2013.
A membership based online community for Mathematics, Arithmetic and Numeracy Teachers from grade 1 to grade 10+2. Members will be able to
- use discussion forums/fora
- share experiences and ideas
- ask questions of fellow practitioners and teachers
- discuss developments in the teaching of maths and teaching in India
- download resources for use in the classroom and homework
- submit resources to be shared and used by other members
- to study for teacher qualifications and areas of continuing professional development
- to enjoy tutorials and other support offered in webinars etc from subject specialists, this will include the opportunity for coaching and mentoring through the MathsBook service.
